Watch “A Supreme Performance” from Top Story! Weekly Episode 144: “Stop! In the Name of Health Care!”

April 3, 2012

Thinking about how to approach the Supreme Court argument about the health care bill in a comedic way, I thought I could combine it with the other great meme of last week: Megan Draper’s dance at Don’s birthday party on “Mad Men.” Of course, the success of such a conceit depends upon the audience recognizing what’s going on, and I don’t think many folks in our audience got the reference – maybe because “Mad Men” airs at the same time our show goes up! Still, Grasie Mercedes did a great job with the dance.

Watch “Party Girl” from Top Story! Weekly Episode 54: “Lost in Translation”

Artemis Pebdani’s Elena Kagan is so hilarious that when news broke of her senior thesis being about socialism I couldn’t resist the chance to have some fun with a collegiate flashback.

As a freshman at Princeton in 1977, there’s two things that Elena Kagan loved – socialism, and partying down!

Watch “Who Wants to Be the Next Supreme Court Justice?” from Top Story! Weekly Episode 49: “No More Kings”

Another sketch I wrote for the April 18 episode of “Top Story! Weekly” – if you are a fan of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” Artemis Pebdani brought some amazing touches to her role as Solicitor General Elena Kagan!

The winner of iO West’s “So You Think You Can Host,” James Ross, joins Alan Thicke in a game show to determine who will replace John Paul Stevens on the Supreme Court!
